This Lafayette home's entryway closet with shoe cubbies in Mississippi Red Gum is a wonderful way to keep clutter at a minimum.  Lit from behind by opaque glass exterior window nothing is hidden in the shadows.

This architectural detail continues down the length of the living room providing niches for art, with cabinets below for storage and shelves above for beloved pieces.

Media Library in Hickory with steel.  This custom media/library in the Berkeley Hills was built to store LPs and cookbooks.  Access to upper reaches of the floor to ceiling shelves is provided with a stainless steel ladder that glides across the unit along a rail.  The base is not on wheels which allows for storing the ladder flat against the unit.

Custom wall paneling in Walnut.  Tight revels and book-matched veneers are highlights of this architectural detailing that covers the fireplace chase coming through the second floor of this remodeled Victorian in Cow Hollow, while providing a durable mount for the flat screen and shelving on either side keep things tidy in this master suite.
